Senator Farouk Bello is a Non- Executive Director at Keystone Bank Limited with over two decades of experience across various sectors of the banking industry, including retail banking, corporate banking, public sector financing, and strategic initiatives. He currently serves as the Managing Director and CEO of Hampton Apartments & Properties.

He started his career in the early 1990’s at Gamji Bank of Nigeria Plc and later joined Guaranty Trust Bank as an Executive Director, leading key strategic initiatives across various sectors. In addition to his banking accomplishments, Farouk served as a Senator in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, where he was an active member of committees on finance, privatization, banking, capital markets, and oil and gas.

Farouk holds an M.Sc. in Monetary Economics from the University of Lagos and a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Sokoto. In addition to his academic achievements, Farouk has completed leadership courses at Harvard Business School and Euromoney in London, where he sharpened his skills in corporate governance, banking operations, and strategic management.
