Gani is the Chief Finance Officer of Keystone Bank Limited, responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategy of the Bank. He has over 20 years of experience in audit, accountancy, consulting, and relationship management across various sectors.

Gani started his career with the Ministry of Industry in Abuja, thereafter he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1994. In 1999, he moved to Standard Trust Bank Plc/United Bank for Africa where he served as the Group Head, Internal Control in various Regions, the Head of Operations, Credit Administration, and Credit Analysis. In 2006, he moved to the erstwhile Bank PHB Plc as the Head of Internal Control in various regions and subsequently, the Divisional Head of Internal Control.

Gani holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Economics, as well as an MBA in Financial Management, all from the University of Lagos. He has also completed various executive courses in Cyber Security, Corporate Finance, and Leadership at Harvard and Wharton Business Schools in the United States. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He is also an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.
