Ademola joined Keystone Bank Limited with a rich background in audit, internal control, operations, financial control, enterprise risk management, operational risk management and business process reengineering, among others, which he garnered from a banking career that has spanned two decades of top management engagements at Citizens International Bank Limited, United Bank for Africa Plc and First Bank of Nigeria Plc.
A Chartered Accountant (ACA), Ademola holds a Higher National Diploma in Statistics (with Distinction) from The Polytechnic, Ibadan (1986); Master’s degree in Business Administration, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma (2001); a Certified Information System Auditor (2002); an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (2008); and an alumnus of the Advanced Management Programme (2010) of the Lagos Business School.
A thoroughbred professional with strong knack for excellent performance, Ademola has attended several local and offshore courses covering Management Development programs as well as key functional areas of banking, risk management, information security, process management, corporate governance, audit, control and fraud management. He has led several successful project teams spanning IT quality assurance, operations, Internal Control and Anti Fraud Automated Solution, audit and control transformation, process improvement initiatives, cost optimization and expense management amongst others.
Ademola was until his appointment to the Board of Keystone Bank, Deputy General Manager and Chief Internal Auditor, First Bank of Nigeria PLC.
