KEYSTONE Bank Limited has unveiled its brand identity, with the launch of a new logo designed to reflect the core principles of safety and strength to its customers.
Mr. Oti Ikomi, Managing Director/CEO, Keystone Bank Limited, in a statement in Lagos, said “the public unveiling of our new logo and brand identity is a major milestone for us at Keystone Bank, one that we believe will begin a journey of mutually beneficial relationship between us and our numerous, esteemed customers.”
The logo, according to him, which is made up of interlocking stones represents safety, service, trust and strength and it is further accentuated by different shades of eye-pleasing blue – ice blue, cyan and navy blue. The statement said that customers of the bank across Lagos where the first phase of the roll out has been done were delighted and impressed at the sight of the new brand identity as they walked into various branches of the bank to do business.
Ikomi said the outdoor signage and visuals for the bank, which is set to capture a good share of the retail market, represents the new horizons that the bank have adopted as its pay off line. “It is a reaffirmation of the creation of this vibrant financial institution since August 5 and an attestation to the positive future that our staff and our customers have in our institution,” he noted.
Ikomi, however, explained that the unveiling of the new logo was not a rebranding effort; rather it was, according to him, an attempt to introduce the visuals that we want to be associated with; one that will also culminate in the roll out of different items that communicate our essence like cheques, Automated Teller Machines, ATM, cards and other collaterals.
He commended the team of staff and vendors who crafted the brand identity for their commitment, resilience and unity of purpose that has led to the “creation of a truly world class identity that aptly represents our aspirations and service promise.”
